CVAN Cuddle Quilts

Victory Junction Bears

Victory Junction enriches the lives of children with serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, at no cost to children or their families. The Cabarrus Quilters Guild has donated more than 100 bears to the camp. These bears are given to each camper as a special gift. Each bear is unique with 25% of the bear’s fabric featuring the black and white checkered fabric of Nascar!

Grant money from Trivent Financial, and donations of fabric and other materials from Becky Anderson of Anderson Sew and Sew, and Pineapple Fabric helped make this recent work day a success. Above, Gary Samuelson from Trivent stopped by to see the project in action and was impressed with our many community services. Some of the members also worked on Quilts of Valor and Hospice quilts.
